Surface Set diamond core bits are a cost effective alternative to impregnated diamond bits while still offering excellent penetration rates and tool life in soft formations.

Diaset offers two types of Surface Set diamond core bits:

• Multi-step Profile – recommended for “thick kerf” wireline drilling
• Rounded Profile – recommended for ‘thin kerf” drilling

These bits are often custom made depending on the rock formation, you can specify:

• Diamond size and grade
• Number of waterways
• Number of steps (Multistep Profile)
• Junk slots (Multi-Step Profile)
• Heavy duty gauge protection
